I am new to the real estate business. I am very interested in learning. I hope to meet many new mentors and friends in this business on Bigger Pockets. I am tired of working for money and want money to work for me. I would appreciate any direction in gaining knowledge in this business quickly. I am looking at a steady plan that works, not a get rich quick with no foundation. I know many of you have already started the foundation and I can use your expertise to help guide me on this adventure in the world of passive income. I have read the books Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosoki. I have read the book that was given for free on this website. I have done research for property managers, attorneys, the best locations to buy high end rental property, etc. If you have any recommendations for mentors, I would greatly appreciate it. I look forward to being part of this community and meeting new business connections.

I just started working for this company as the mentee, so I am new to investing in real estate. I am trying to learn how to meet investors. I found Bigger Pockets as a chance to learn while my mentor is out of state at the moment. I am representing her company which is just starting over in Fort Wayne. I appreciate all your comments on this topic. I eventually will upgrade and become a professional member.

I want to learn where to locate investors for projects, such as the purchase of buy and hold apartment complexes or storage unit facilities. Can you please guide me in the right direction? Are there books, or specific places to meet these types of investors.
