Hi @Brittany Thompson, I am sure there are quite a few. Do you have deals lined up?

War Eagle @Bryan Mills and welcome to BP

@Helen Kirk, I am all for doing good in the world, so I admire your empathy and desire to help them.

However -- do NOT let yourself hang out to dry. If they had trouble paying their mortgage to the bank, you should assume they will have trouble making payments to you. You have to be prepared to handle this like a business decision if they don't pay.

And @Christy Harris, you forgot to mention that Huntsville has a good mix of people from all over the United States (and world really), is one of the top three engineering hubs in the country, and has some of the best schools in the south!

@Brian Gawronski, any of the "over the mountain" (OTM) suburbs are nice. Homewood is certainly a good place to live. The homes are older (early 1900s), but many have been completely redone. You are going to see higher property taxes in Homewood, Mountain Brook, and Vestavia Hills than in Hoover mainly due to the school systems. The first three are highly desirable for their school systems, but unless you have kids, you might not want to deal with the higher taxes.

I live in Hoover and work out of my house, so no commute. The traffic going to/from downtown area gets heavy during rush hour. A lot of the desirable rental locations are north and west of town town.

There are neighborhoods in Vestavia Hills, Homewood, and Mountain Brook that are going to continue to go up in price as well...

Welcome to BP @Drusilla Hurt, always nice to see fellow "Birminghamians" join!

I like that explanation, @Cliff Harrison. How are you heading against a real estate bubble?
