Don't get me wrong, there are great people in Indy, great areas to invest - just be careful - do your homework is my point 😆

Do you have systems in place that can verify all the information? I see many deals in Indy, many promises of of stable rental income in appreciating and upcoming areas - in many cases - this is just plain bull &#â‚©%. Be very careful and do your homework.

@David Skidmore I met with the CEO (husband & wife) of FS Houses today, and I have to admit, there is NO question that you are part of THE very best team in downtown Indy. NO question about it. I was just blown away by the honesty, professionalism, experience, and impeccable track record.Top Notch!

@Andy Wayne First off, congratulations for taking action!

Post pics and also tell us:

* Why you chose Broadripple for your first investment property

* How you sourced the property

Sounds like your plan is coming together nicely!

@Jeffrey Estrella If I understand your post correctly, you are an attorney and a licensed broker, is this correct? Please help me understand why you need someone to help you "master" the art of real estate investing?

@Shawn Holsapple I am indeed very concerned about the maintenance issues of these older properties you referenced. I think you have just saved me a from doing something I would have regretted. Thanks a million.

@Scott DeMichele I definitely hear you regarding the empty-nesters and it is certainly true that kids can be hard on a house. Is there is particular neighborhood you could recommend? Thanks so much for your comments, I really appreciate it.
