@Gerardo Dominguez Thank you nice to meet you. The seminar was here in Carlsbad, it was a Than Merrill seminar. It was an interesting experience, and yes there was upselling throughout the seminar. It was smoothly done I might say. It was mostly about flipping, being a professional not an amateur, making sure to have a great system, and keep working on the strategy that can work most of the time. 

@Robert Blanchard Ha ha Yea, it felt really good doing it too. No I wasn't able to do much networking. I like in that skill, and hopefully I can build it up through those clubs/meetups. Thank you for the link I will definitely look at. Good luck to you also!

Its not as big as the stories on here, but just wanted to say I went to my first seminar yesterday, and found it very interested. I was surprise of how much I already knew thanks to BP. I gain some useful information and was glad I took that small step in getting closer to my goal. Wish you all the best of luck!!!

First off I just want to say BP's Podcasts ROCKS!!! Thank you for the lifetime of education!

Hi BP members I am new to real estate investing and have been gaining as much knowledge as possible. I have started making a real estate plan thanks to BPs outline and plan on executing my plan within a couple of months. I am really looking forward to meeting and learning from you BP Members.

Goal- To become financially free within 10 years and be able to retire my parents as soon as I can.

Would like to start by wholesaling, but still figuring out the kinks, Any helpful hints are greatly appreciated! (any threads and must reads before starting).  

Are there any local meets for newbies and pros? (Carlsbad, Ca)
