At my very first local meetup a seasoned investor was speaking and I'll never forget what he said about how to get money.  He said "run your mouth."  So I guess you're on the right track!

If you want to shoot me a message here maybe I can help you find the investment you're looking for.  I love the small multifamily property as a first investment.  If not, I'm sure I can find someone who will get you closer.

Cheers

 Thanks! I sent you a note a few minutes ago. I sure can run my mouth! I'm hoping it will lead me in the right direction, and soon! Glad to see another Pittsburgh investor here. Take care, and I hope to network with you in the near future.

All the best!

-Justin.

@Adam B.

Thanks for your reply. Which forum(s) did you go to to find lenders? What forum(s) do you frequent, and find to be helpful? What is: 3pts?

@Jeff Rabinowitz

I know my market, and I'm motivated to learn. I'm still in college, due to graduate in a years time. I have a little money saved but I'm looking to leverage private money as I previously stated. I'm trying to make connections on bigger pockets, I've read the success stories and am looking to be the next one. I'm passionate about doing this. I'm just hoping to meet the right people and get started. I'd love to invest in someone's project, locally. Definitely not ready to go out of state yet. Do you know of any private lenders?

Thanks.

-Justin.

Hi everyone.

My name is Justin, I am a beginner in the investment business. I'm trying to navigate my way to my first deal, I'd like to accomplish this with other peoples money! I've seen so many people say that the money is out there, I'm at a loss on where to look and how to get it. Can anyone help!? I'm trying to acquire a duplex in the Pittsburgh area. I am grateful to anyone who will help this rookie get off the blocks!!

Thanks!

-Justin.

Looking forward to connecting with you, who knows maybe even do a deal together

 ~Thanks for your response. Please shareshare titles of any books you have readread, or formal classes you have taken that helped you reach your goals. I definitely want to do business, big business! Like I mentioned, I'm trying to get into large units, such as multi-family, hotels, vacation estates/villas; and if possible commercial real estate. I've been reading, and have noticed that it may take multiple investors to make acquisitions at larger scales. So please keep in touch, never know what lies ahead!

 Absolutely agree. I'm going to start with single family homes to build my base. Ideally scaling up my business in the order I previously mentioned. I really want to do bigger projects as I enhance my knowledge and experience in investing. Thanks for your feedback!

Hey, this is Justin from Pittsburgh. I'm interested in making multiple acquisitions in multi-family homes, hotels, and single family vacation homes, both nationally and internationally. I have no investment background. However, I am educating myself on this industry. I want to become the type of investor, and developer, that leaves a green footprint in communities; keeps communities in tact, while fostering new growth and development. I hope there is a mentor out there who is willing to point me in the right direction!

Thanks!

~Justin.
