Thanks Brandon Turner I've actually already been going through those pages you mentioned and quite a few others. A lot of great info there. About adding a photo, I'm trying to figure out the software here, it's a bit different than what I'm used to using. Is this a custom job?

Thanks for the welcomes Mike LaCava and Thomas Tibbitts! Are you both going to be at the Black Diamond event? I'm not sure if I can make that one, I'll have to find a babysitter.

Howdy! a friend pointed me here, as an example of a nicely designed online community, and it turns out by coincidence that I've been thinking about finding a community for real estate investing and decided to join up.

I live in Massachusetts, and my background is in online businesses. I build, buy, sell, and manage online businesses very much like BiggerPockets.com. I recently sold several of my web properties, and have been thinking about diversifying myself by getting into something different like a brick and mortar business or real estate.

What I was thinking would be an ideal situation would be if I could find someone in my area who is already successful in real estate who might be looking to diversify, and I could help that person get into an online business while they help me get into real estate. Is that too crazy an idea?
