Speaking as a new investor, I am relying on my Business Administration/Finance degree to help me understand things like time value of money and analytical considerations. Not sure how it will serve me long term.

Hi,

I'm Peter from Hyattsville, MD, just outside of Washington, DC.

I am an operations manager at a railroad by trade. My real estate experience is limited: I'm a homeowner and have taken the licensing class in DC, but never affiliated. I have long wanted to get in to real estate

My biggest reason for joining Bigger Pockets is to learn as much as I can from people actually in the business, and to make contributions however I can. Also important, I would like to network so that I can build mutually beneficial business relationships in the industry.

My goal for 2018 is to accumulate cash so that I can begin rehabbing Baltimore row homes, and then start rehabbing.
