Hello @Basit Siddiqi,  thank you for replying.

The maturity date to get our money back was 3/15/20. He said because of covid, he isn’t able to sell off some property to pay the investors back. I specifically told him in September of 2019 and multiple times after that that I would want my funds returned because he had just sold off the property we all invested in. Instead I guess he used our money to invest in something else and now he is offering to give us an extra 3% of our principle. Seems like a cheap loan at this point.

Would love to hear your thoughts! Thank you!

@Kevin Coggins I didn't shop around for other quotes. This was my first investment home and I didn't really know where to look. Thanks for your comment!

Hello,

My wife and I recently bought some investment property in Texas in April/May 2017. Our loan rate was 5.125% on the 30 year fix. I was told that it is higher because it was an investment home. The rates right now are about 3.71% for a 30 year fix.

I wanted to find out if I was getting ripped off or if this is a legitimate and reasonable APR.

Thank you very much for your time!

Peter

Hello,

My name is Peter. I'm from Fremont, CA which is in the East Bay, next to San Francisco, CA. I'm fairly new to the real estate investing and I had a few questions.

I recently read Brandon's ebook - 7 years to 7 figure wealth. I get the strategy behind what he's saying, but I wanted to know if he's obtaining these properties in lower income areas. If one gets properties in lower income areas, aren't they setting themselves up to be landlord #1? What is the best way to get managers to manage your properties in these areas?

I don't know if it's because the economy is doing well, but I haven't found many places for $130,000 or less. I understand that this could also be due to my lack of experience.

Thank you so much for your time!

Peter
