Hello,

My tenant recently vacated the apartment and there were no drainline issues before he moved in and its a fairly new plumbing line a little over two years. He most likely abused the plumbing system letting hard waste going through the line and most probably used harsh chemicals such as drainex causing these issues. Can I withhold his deposit for wrecking my plumbing system? I will appreciate your inputs.

Thanks

Hello,

I have a garage in my rental and my tenant parks his car there. The tenant was having a hard time opening and closing, I tried to adjust the sensors and troubleshooted a bit and I noticed a gear fell off and the chain is dangling, whom should I reach out to address this issue? Can garage door repair contractors fix this issue. Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks

@Genny Li

Thank you very much Genny, I did not know it was called awning, I guess my next step would be to research awnings that can withstand snow load for extended hours.

Hello,

I would like to know if there are any advantages of having a solar roof in terms of saving energy bills and taxes?

Lately I have been getting  a lot of calls

Related to installing solar roof. Firstly are there any real advantages of solar roofing?

They mentioned that they will be inspecting the roof if it's a good fit, it got me into thinking I can get a free and objective roof inspection.

Thanks

@Peter Morgan

Hi Genny,

It just occurred to me, are there any products that enhances balcony roofing sort of an extra projection like a baseball cap to ward off piling snow or rain water that falls directly into the balcony?

@Genny Li

Thanks you very much Genny, I will check IKEA for the wood tiles, I am sure they must be waterproof but my biggest challenge is what is the best way to seal gap between tile and concrete, is liquid rubber a good candidate to seal that gap? Very eager to checkout the IKEA option both from a aesthetics and waterproofing perspective.

Hello,

I have a small balcony with iron railings on the perimeter rooted in concrete and the entire area is covered with tiles. There is a slight gap between tiles and concrete with some worn off sealant, and I have no clue on how to replace the worn out sealant because I don't know what product it is. I am seeing some water seeping into garage under the balcony so I would like to make sure to tightly seal the gap,I was thinking about removing worn out sealant and pour there some liquid rubber and then on top of the existing tiles I would like to install LVT to fully water proof as well as enhance the looks, is it a bad idea to have LVT outdoors? I am open to other ideas. Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks
