Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good Real Estate Licensing School in Detroit? I'd like to take a 1-week 40 hour course this month.

Thank you in advance.

Post: How to look at Comps in Detroit

I'm looking at properties in Detroit, single unit family homes, tenanted, including Section 8.

My question is: how does one look at comps when trying to assess the value of a property? The property prices are all over the place, so it's hard to gauge price of ONE property with any accuracy. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks.

Thank you, Richard,

I should be in Detroit around April 15. Would you be up for coffee?

Dear Faisal, thank you so much for your great posts. I'm considering investments in real estate, but I spend much of my time overseas for work. So remote management is a concern (though I could visit every 4-6 months if need be).

I'm considering Detroit, though Cleveland keeps coming up on this site. Any ideas/advice on Detroit v/s Cleveland?

thanks.
