Hi Joe

I would like to begin wholesaling in order to build up some capital. Then move on to buying a few multiple family units. There is a so much to learn so I am doing a lot of reading and asking questions. Thank you for the welcome

I don’t have a close relationship with her we meet a few weeks ago. I have an open availability and I am sure she has a lot going on. I am just getting started and I need to know what to expect from an agent.

I thought it strange for her to ask me to put an offer on a property I had not even seen yet.

I think finding another agent and building a relationship is good advice.

Thank you

I need some help regarding agents.

I am not getting the information I have been requesting from my agents when I need it. I may not be asking the right questions or maybe asking for it in the wrong order.

An agent sent me a listing that appears to be a great deal. She asked me to put in an offer on it before I had seen it. I asked to schedule a tour (it took a few days before I could see it). Meanwhile I asked for the cma and for the sale price of property once it was rehabbed. Her response was “I will get you the cma once I know the extent of your rehab to the property”.

I have seen the property with my contractor and I have my repair costs, I told her what the rehab plan was but it has been two days and still no cma. There have been a few offers on this property so it could be too late at this time to put in my offer.

Two questions

1. Should I see the cma to confirm the sale price she gave me before I put in my offer?

2. How long should it take an agent to get information back to me?

Thank you

Rosa

Thank you all for the welcome and the links on how to get started.

I guess I need to learn how this site works first.

Happy Holidays

Hi my name is Rosa from Somerset Mass.

I have worked as a property manager for the past 12 years. I am now currently unemployed due to the sale of the property; thank God my husband has a job. I wanted to get into the real estate investment business and make this my new career.

I am here to learn as much as I can and seek help from local members. I would like to learn the best path for improving my income and retirement portfolio.

I found out about BP from a REIA meeting. I hope to learn here and thank you for welcoming me as I join in.
