It should be a Luxury to have your own bedroom, so IMO, for a 5 bedroom house you should not be cringing until a family size exceeds 10.

And think about it, even the mother with eight kids, that is only 2 children per bedroom and the mother having her own.  That sounds pretty practical to me!  I shared a bedroom with my sister my entire childhood and most places were rentals.

And, no my last comment did not address legality, just practicality and fairness. So, I understand I did not answer your question-sorry.

For the # of children, you are advertising a 5 bedroom house!  My mother had 6 sisters and 3 brothers and her mother and father and they all resided in 3 bedrooms. She and her 6 sisters spent a few years until the eldest moved out in one bedroom.  Since 5 bedrooms is about the max for affordable housing in any market, your house is going to attract large families.  If these large families cannot rent a 5 bedroom house, where else can they live?

And, for the felony, I would think you could reject.  What is the purpose of a background check if not to rule out the undesirable?

Do not know if it is legal, but when I was young I was kicked out of my HOA community for having a 2nd child when they only allowed max of 3 people in 2 bedroom, and when I had my 3rd child many apartments would not rent a 2 or 3'bedroom to a 5 person family.. Maybe times have changed, or maybe HOAs trump lival law, dont know, curious.

How do I change last name on my profile?  With the Android app when I go to edit profile it does not allow me to change my name.

Yes, the previous owner should provide you with copies of the leases.  I would consider hiring a property manager for out of state re tals, but that is just my opinion.
