Hi Everyone,

I have been enjoying the podcasts for a couple of months and want to be more actively involved in the BP community. I work as an Assistant Director for Housing Operations at a mid-sized private institution here in the great city of Philadelphia. I took a winding path to my current position over the past five years, but have an educational background in architecture including a masters in sustainable design from Philadelphia University (an amazingly innovative place). I am blessed with an kind and supportive wife, and we have a 17 month old daughter and a son on the way.

I have had a love for real estate, design and construction since high school and paid my way through much of college running a residential painting/design company both in Maryland and Pennsylvania. I love the idea of flipping and probably have the design/project management skills for it, but at this season in my life don't have the funding or time. An entrepreneur at heart, I am loving the MBA classes I am taking on the side and hope to step into the real estate investing world soon through buying rental property in the NW region of the city. I am pretty well-connected in the region through local church networks and the higher education community.

At this point, I don't have much to offer in terms of time and money, but I hope to at least be an active participant offering what I can in terms of the knowledge, experience and connections I do have. If there are any other BP members in the Philly area, I would love to touch base over sushi, a beer or perhaps a Chubby's cheesesteak.

All the best,
