One thing you might want to take into consideration, whether or not each jurisdiction/city will allow air bnb, or the frequent rentals to multiple different people. Some cities restrict these types of rentals.

Some cities will change policy as well.. to restrict these types of rentals and theres not much you can do about it

You would likely be grandfathered in if anything changes, but with a time restriction

First of all, thank you for reading.

I have purchased a single family home with 1.5 acres right off the highway, in the twin cities, Minnesota. I've owned it for a couple years, but I know the land is being drastically underused- I want to develop it.

To start, I need to determine if the development will be a multifamily structure, retail, or more of a warehouse with office space.

I've gone to the city to see if they have an economic developer, I've talked to my banker, but I haven't gotten very far.

Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction of where to start? Who to talk to?
