Hi Francisco- :) 

New here too. Would love to pick your brain on what youve learned/experienced so far. 

We haven't tried reaching out for a mentor yet, but we have been offered many get rich quick real estate guru education programs for 30k buyins and promises of mastermind groups-- We all have unique experience professionally and personally, so i believe the different perspectives and character traits we carry could be a boon to someone without them. For instance, if you are well spoken, perhaps you could let someone know that is a strength for you and it will peak their interest or a partner who maybe is more shy or introverted. My wife and i have mobile home management, maintenance, and sales in our backgrounds, but are unsure how to locate and advertise ourselves as interesting for someone to devote time to as mentorees... perhaps its just about going to networking events till you find someone more successful than you, has something you want, and you click with?? ... have you had any more luck figuring it all out since u posted this? 

Did you drink the guru Kool-Aid??
