Hi Mike. First, let me take this opportunity to thank you for your service! I studied a lot myself when I first got started, and I am still learning new things everyday. Don't know if you have any Real Estate Meet Ups in Northern Nevada. If so join them and talk to people in your area that are doing the same thing. Yes, they could be competitors but they can also be very helpful too. Don't buy into every "guru" program out there. I can't stress that enough. Start with one thing. If you want to wholesale you need to learn how to estimate repairs first. That is a key component. You don't have to be exact but close enough to figure out, after you include your wholesale fee, if it is good deal to flip. There is a book by Jay Scott called "Estimate Rehab Costs". Someone on BP mentioned it. This should help.
