Thank you Colleen! I just read a ton about depreciation, I was not aware how big of a role that could play in my situation.

Does anyone know the impact of rental income on income based repayment plans for Student Loan payments? I am just getting started in REI, but fearful of the increase in incomes impact on my monthly student loan payments. I'd like to keep these as low as possible until my forgiveness date in 3 years, so if my income were to shoot up on paper it would create an issue. If anyone has any knowledge in this, or could recommend a CPA with a lot of student loan experience I would appreciate it!
