Congrats Michael.  I am just curious if you are utilizing cost segregation strategies for your investments?  And will you be utilizing property management firms to help out?

I know of two groups that I believe could help you in this endeavor.

The reply immediately above is an excellent way to look at what you want.  If you are going to invest outside your area you should try to find a group that has a presence in the markets you want to look at for your investment.

We are a multi-state management firm and work with out-of-state investors all the time.   Many of the above answers are excellent and show that out-of-state investing is doable.   Happy to assist you in your search if you need help.

Great question that you are asking here.   First, are you looking to buy a single family residence or another type of property?  That may help drive your decision.   Also, are you looking to keep the property long-term or to flip it right away?   Depending upon the answer to those questions some markets may be better than others.   Happy to answer any questions you may have.
