@Michael Argento I have to agree with @Jingru Sui and @Marc Brenner. That area is growing and there are lots of nice new builds, but rent seems high.

@ Michael Argento I am in the Atlanta area and that rent for that price sounds like a deal! I am a new to this as well and am having trouble finding rents that agree with the price for the house, even in more suburban to rural OTP areas. I agree the Westside looks to be on the up and up. May I ask how you connected with a wholesaler you trust?  Best of luck, keep us posted!

Thanks @Mark Miles. That is a great perspective, and I am curious abou the wear and tear. No way a shortterm guest is going to care for a place like its his own, so I'm definitely curious about typical ongoing costs for maintenance of property, furniture, etc as well as utilities.

Hey everyone! I'm new to REI and am interested in growing wealth and income streams with SFHs and long term rentals. However, I've recently grown intrigued with Short term rentals in tourist markets as another way to grow. As I dig into a little more researching, I would love to know your favorite resources for finding short term rental cash flow, expenses, etc, and for the best way to manage them from afar? Thanks and can't wait to hear more!
