Hello,

I am a newbie, looking to jump into my first investment property. Looking for a real estate agent who is familiar with the East Cobb area around Canton Road and Marietta Square. Ideally, this person would be experienced in REI and patient enough to deal with a newbie who asks a lot of questions.

I have already found a property I'm interested in that is a FSBO, but I need some insight and advice into the surrounding area.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Pamela

@Mike Watkins Considering I'm only days into deciding to do this, that "jumping" will probably start with "getting my feet wet" with some education into the basics. That being said, looks like wholesaling may be the easiest way to start, but then I do want to move into flipping fairly quickly.

The law office I work at is on Church Street, right off Marietta Square, so if you happen to be in the area again soon, let me know. Always looking to network and connect.

Newbie here with no experience in REI. I'm currently a lawyer, but don't get too excited because my focus is criminal defense and the only real estate contract I've ever seen is the one for my own house. I'm married with 2 small kids, and my goal is to stay home with them while running a business from home. I'm an excellent student so I'm hoping to learn the ropes and jump in as quickly as possible, with the knowledge that most of the learning comes from doing. Always available for a good cup of coffee and conversation.
