Thanks @Alina Trigub I will definitely do that!  Going to continue to educate myself daily as I look for deals

Hey BP community after many years of being a member on the forum I finally decided to take the leap into multifamily investing, I’ve listened to many podcasts over the years and with some recent big changes in my family life I decided the time now.I have a decent amount of equity in my primary single family home, and about $30k cash.I currently reside in NJ would like to invest in properties in the 08861 (Perth Amboy), 07050 (Orange), and 07103 (Newark) areas.I know the NJ market is decently higher priced; however there can still be some deals to be found in the right areas. My preferred investing strategy is Buy and Hold with cashflow each month, ultimately building longterm multifamily portfolio.  Any thoughts or suggestions from any experienced New Jersey real estate investors?  I’m definitely open to guidance!

Great reply to Calvin L. Todd Jr. post Brian Burke. I definitely think you answered Calvin's questions. Thanks for the thorough answer, I've benefited greatly from it.

Welcome Jay Won....I'm a fellow Jersey resident in my 20's living in North Jersey who became interested in REI about 2 years ago.....my partner and I Calvin L. Todd Jr. are planning to start a real estate company this year....it would definitely be great to network since we're all around the same age, and from the same area...send me an email and if you're intersted we can get in touch sometime....

Very nice....I'm looking forward to watching the recorded video....this should be a regular occurence....

Sounds great @Brandon Turner....I will be on the lookout...

I finished reading this guide this past weekend. This is a fantastic resource Joshua Dorkin. Will this be available as an E-Book or in hard copy in the future?
