Ive read books after books on real estate and mindset. Im ready to start investing i called the local investor in my area and told him i was a wholesaler he told me the type of homes he buys. I think i found a good deal but i still need to locate the owner because the home looks abandoned but before i even get to that step where would i be able to find the contracts? or should i go straight to a attorney ? I'm in springfield mass if that helps.

@Daniel Jodrey Thank you, yea Miami is a tough place to make it thank you again for your advice I am seeing a lot of opportunity in the wynnwood area it looks like it's turning around and prices are still low. I was also told that Miami Beach was just as bad as the wynnwood area 20 years ago and now look at it I'm definitely seeing a lot of opportunity especial for the long run.

Hello everyone my name is Pablo Ottenwalder. At 17 i lived in Boston Massachusetts. While I was there I made all the wrong decisions I ended up homeless and sleeping in my car. My girlfriend at the time was pregnant I knew I had to change my life. I got a job at a supermarket and out worked everyone for the next 5 years. I got into management made about 65k a year and married my girlfriend, I finally had my life together. I received another promotion and was going to be making 80k a year with overtime but I hated my job and the cold weather. I starting reading a lot of books like rich dad poor dad, richest Man in Babylon and Millionaire next door then books on real estate I was hooked. I decided to quit my job and relocate my family to Miami Florida without a job waiting for me I did it with just the money I saved up. I've bin here for about a year now and worked all kinds of odd jobs. It's bin tough providing for my wife and son but we're now finally stable and I want to get into real estate. My wife thinks I'm crazy because I want to quit my job and find something else in real estate. But I truly believe you can accomplish anything you put your mind to I've also bin listening to a lot of motivational speeches as well lol. So I signed up for this forum so I can learn from everyone's experience and eventually become an investor myself. And if you read the entire post thank you

@Tasheana Hanza Thank you I'm considering going to school to get the license by the end of the month thank you for your help and @Thomas S. if you don't mind what trade specifically would be best I already know Hvac a little electricity but the issue I always come back to is if I should learn everything I can about fixing the homes or stick to one trade and master it ? And with that money invest or even become an agent while I work a trade and do them both , I know a lot of questions I would love to learn from everyones personal experiences. I'm motivated already read 10 books on the subject but now I need to take action thanks again

First I would like to apologize if this question was already asked I'm knew to this forum. My question is before even thinking of investing should I get a career in real estate like an appraiser or anything else in that same field? Or should I continue working at my job at a body shop and learn that business but my actual goal in life is to get into real estate. I just don't know a job Inside of real estate that pays enough to get started into investing. Any comment would be appreciated this is the question that's in my head every single day.
