Thanks Dustin, I can wait. How about the Lakeland Village property in South Lake? 525k seems high but the AirBNB potential seems high.

Looking at purchasing an investment property. I just flipped a project on the Oregon Coast and looking at transferring some profits into another rental in the Carson City, Reno, Gardnerville, or Lake Tahoe area where I currently have a few rentals and live full time. I've looked at a few rehab properties that need a lot of work and seemed to be priced high for the work that needs to be done, i.e. new plumbing, electric, foundation. Is anybody else having this experience? Should I branch outside of my local area? May be interested in a turn key vacation rental out of state, anybody else doing this? Maybe Florida? Baja? Would love to hear your thoughts and ideas and what you all are doing.

Thanks,

Orion

Hello,

Did you decide you use VACASA to manage your short term rental? I am in the process of purchasing an investment in Coos Bay which I believe is short term friendly. I was looking at Bandon but prices got a little high so decided on Coos Bay which seems like its not too far from the Bandon Dunes Golf Course and the Dunes. I am debating whether to use Vacasa or possibly manage myself. Let me know what our experience has been.

Thanks,

Orion

HI Christopher,

Curious if you purchased a property? My wife and I are in contract for a rental in Coos Bay. We are headed up next weekend to review the inspection but curious what your thoughts are so far? I'm debating short or long term rentals.

I’m new to out of state investing but have equity in a few properties in California and Nevada and looking into investing out of state . Curious what cities you all are investing in. I’m looking at Florida (Jacksonville or Orlando), mainly because I’m sick of the snow and would love to have a property some place warm In the winter but curious where you all are investing.

@Dimitri Paspalaris Thanks Dimitri, I’m leaning toward long term because less headache. If you have a trustworthy reputable Rental Management Company you’d recommend I would appreciate that.

Thanks Karen, I was originally looking in Jacksonville but was told by a professional in the area to look towards Palm Coast or St. Augestine, would you agree? Do you think this is where more people will be moving in the future?

In the process of purchasing a investment property in St. Augestine Florida or possibly Palm Coast Florida. Does anybody have a good property manager they can recommend ? I am also debating between short and or long term rental investing, I would appreciate any feedback .
