@Evan Polaski ok thank you for getting back to me man. It seems like it wouldn’t be worth it because I checked comps in the area. I don’t think the value of my house will really increase too much. I appreciate ya getting back to me.

Hey everyone, I’m just curious if anyone has had experience with doing an addition in the basement? My current home is a 2 bedroom house. My wife and I purchased this home and you can tell someone started to put an additional bedroom room in the basement and just didn’t finish.

I was wondering has anyone had experience building an addition bedroom in the basement? If so, how did you go about finding out how much your house was worth afterwards? Did you have your home assessed by a realtor? Did the bank assess it? Did your taxes increase?

I'm thinking of obtaining a HELOC against this property and was trying to raise the value of the home. Any suggestions or info would be great.

@Vanessa Bautista any books by Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad being the most popular. Also the ABC’s of Real Estate by Ken McElroy. There is a lot of other great books out there but these guys have put out some gold!! Good luck to you!

@Kirbi Campbell read 2-3 books a month, and buy my first rental property. Need to set aside some more time in the mornings before 5 a.m. I’m most productive in the mornings and I’m at the gym by 6. Giving myself more time in the mornings I can focus more while the house is “quiet “.

What are your goals this year and what do you plan on doing to teach them?
