@Aaron Mazzrillo I saw some of your replies in other posts in this forum and I saw you do work in Riverside. I would love to speak to you or even come up to meet and see what you do. I saw a boom happen in the San Bernardino area about three years ago and I want to see how its going in Riverside. Do you recommend the area? Any other interesting areas here in SoCal?

Hi BP!

About 3 yrs ago I was about to get into REI with a friend and we did some work together in the San Bernardino area. I helped with some research but at the end, it wasn't the right moment for me. He did end up buying about 20 properties there and I believe he did pretty well on them.

I know that area was very hot then because investors in the area were fighting over the properties, but I guess it has slowed down since.

Does anybody know or can recommend an area in SoCal where I can begin that is similar to San Bernardino? I am looking for properties in the $60k - $200k range that I can either Buy and Hold or Flip.

Thanks!

D.

Hi everyone!

I'm excited to finally starting my dream of getting involved in Real Estate.

I am very motivated to get started, I have been reading a lot over the years on and offline and I finally feel I am ready.

I took everyone's advice and found a close friend who I hope will become my mentor. Apart from that, I am looking to meet people in the San Diego area who are involved in RE Investing and maybe meeting up.

I would also like to know if there are any BP events here in San Diego or if any members here meet up once in a while to share experiences and exchange tips.

Nice to meet everyone and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with all here on BP.
