My husband and I are moving to Portland this summer after having success investing in the Columbus, Ohio area. We want to meet and start working with an investor friendly agent in the Portland area. Someone who is familiar with Letters of Intent and is willing to be creative. We went through many in Columbus but could not find one who was willing to be creative to find deals. We are planning on attending the monthly meetup for the Northwest REIA but looking for fellow investors to network with and compare resources!

Has anyone used a mailman to bring them a list of vacant properties? How did you get in contact with them? USPS seems to not want to give out this information. I know i could wait and talk to someone I see on their route in an area I want to target but looking for any faster solutions! Thanks!

@Tom Ott we’re looking to sell the contract if we find a flipper who is interested in that area. Just looking to see if anyone has invested in this Area and knew if there are buyers.

My husband and I have a possible house we could get under contract in Bellaire Ohio about 2 hrs outside of Columbus. Our buyers typically deal in Columbus so we are deciding if we should put this house under contract even if we can get it at 50 cents on the dollar since we don’t know if there is a market out there. Can’t find any comps. Any ideas for this area? Does anyone know any buyers in Bellaire? Looking for advice

Calling all rehabbers and wholesalers: do you need someone to follow up on leads? Someone to take pictures and estimate rehab and ARV costs? I can help!

I'm looking for some side work while my husband and I build up our own business and have extensive experience dealing with customers, estimating rehab costs and ARV. We have a few deals under our belts but are looking for some side work while we build up our business.

Newbie wholesaler looking for advice and connections in the Columbus, Ohio area.

My husband and I are putting an off market property under contract and are looking to wholesale it to a cash buyer. The neighborhood is super desirable, across from a Worthington school, right by a country club and families buy and stay for years.

We are looking for creative ways to find and network with investors who pay cash for flips. This is a great flip or buy and hold. Any advice on locating and targeting buyers is much appreciated!

I’m looking for a real estate attorney in Columbus who can give us some more information about the legality of assigning a contract. We have a house under contract and want to understand if we have the option of assigning the contract!! Thanks!

Hi Dale!  I think we may be in a similar boat! My husband and I are also trying to get into buy and hold properties in Columbus! We have lived here our entire lives, in multiple areas and are pretty sure we know the hot spots! We are looking for like minded investors as well to communicate with, trade advice and possibly partner with! I'd love to chat!
