Thank you both for the recommendation! I just reached out to her.

I own several properties in two different states, and I am working on ensuring that they are all set up properly, legally speaking. I need to create another LLC or two, and possibly a holding company.

Does anyone have a real estate lawyer in the Denver area that they would recommend or a suggestion on how to go about finding a good lawyer?

I would also love any feedback on questions that I should be asking a lawyer before signing up to work with them.

This is a new area for me, so I appreciate the help!

@JackSmith and @ChrisParsons it sounds like we have had similar experiences. It sounds like the options are to settle for average at best or self-manage. Thank you all for your insights. I really appreciate it!

I own a triplex in Akron and am under contract for a duplex in the same neighborhood. I currently have a property manager for the triplex, but I am very unimpressed with their performance. Does anyone have recommendations for a multifamily property manager? I would love to work with a smaller company rather than a big real estate company that just happens to also to property management.

Thanks, @Jeffrey Donis, I've looked into some local meet-ups, but attending in person isn't really an option given the distance. I am meeting up with my agent and some others while I am there so I will definitely try to add more people to my visit. Good idea.

@Tim Rostro I will definitely check out that bank, thank you. Yes, the housing market everywhere seems to be on fire. Hard to find a market that isn't insane right now.

Hello! I'm an investor from Colorado, looking to make my first foray into out-of-state investing in the Cleveland area. I own several properties here and am looking to purchase a multi-family unit out of state. Up until now, I've self-managed all of my properties. I've got my funding in place, and I've found an agent to work with, but I'm struggling to find a great property manager and lender. I would love to connect with others investing in the area who would be willing to chat about their experience of finding great team members or investing out of state.
