I look for someone that can advice me on what to do with my money. Someone experienced and seasoned, who can hear my plans and goals and give their take on how to reach them, or offer new ideas.

In short - investor from Europe. Own RE in Europe. Got some money in my hands. Want to start investing in the USA. Have specific challenges, ideas and areas I look into. Have a specific situation in my life. Been researching, reading, listening, but the big and rough thing for me is to make the right decision/s, since my option are a lot, or maybe they do not exist?

Where do I find someone with whom I can consult on my situation, booking a meeting and just talk? I'm seeking for someone who has experince in investing in different kinds of rental properties; cash out and refinance; growing a portfolio; someone who who likes to help and is good at listening. My goals are ambitious but I'm ready to take risks.

I'd love to have an input on persons/companies who provide such services, from personal recomendations.

If you are such a person, feel free to send out a message.

Thanks for reading.

Quote from @Adam Bartomeo:

The majority of investors that I work with are out of state or out of the country. Some of them have owned properties for years and have never seen them. Before the purchase we take photos and videos, we have a licensed inspector check the property and provide all of the info to the owners. You just need to find someone to trust!

Thank you Adam. I'll reach out to you.

Quote from @Matt Moore:

I would look for a real estate agent focusing on investment properties.  They would have contacts in the area that could help do an inspection.  Agents are not legally able to do inspections.  You could pay a broker to do a Broker Price Opinion, but that may not help you much.  If it were me, I would start with an agent and then look for an inspector who might do a "light" inspection for a fee.

Hi Ofir,

Buying a rental property remotely is definitely manageable, and it's great that you're doing your research! Since you're in Europe and can't visit the property, you can hire a professional third-party home inspector or a local property manager who offers property evaluation services. They can provide detailed reports, photos, and even virtual tours to give you a good sense of the place. Many investors also use buyer’s agents who specialize in remote purchases to ensure you're getting unbiased feedback.

Regarding North Austin, it's a strong market for rentals with growing tech and job opportunities. Areas like Georgian Acres to Gracywood are in demand, offering a mix of affordability and growth potential. I'd recommend working with a trusted real estate agent who has experience with out-of-state or international buyers, along with a reliable property manager to oversee your investment.

If you need any financing advice or have questions about the process, feel free to reach out!

Best,

Drago

Thank you, will reach out for sure:)

Interested in buying a rental property. My eye caught a nice property. I'm in Europe now and can't travel to Texas, is there a service that I can hire, someone unbiased who will go inspect the property for me? I've never bought the property from a long distance, I always go and look/inspect/feel. So it's a new situation for me! Any advice?

Also, the area of North Austin is interesting to me, can anyone have thoughts about this area (from Georgian Acres to Gracy wood)? And a recommendation for an agent and property manager that you know/trust, would also be a good tip.

I know it's a lot, but I'm trying:) Thanks!

Hey Ofir, what particular market are you looking at in the US.

A lot of Europeans underestimate how large and different the US is as a whole. We have areas where you can invest in homes in the $100k-$200k range and then stuff in the $1,000,000 range pretty easily in California.

I work with a lot of international investors, and happy to help where I can. You'll need a corporate structure set up and, if you plan to get any financing, you're probably looking at 65% LTV maximum.

 Thank you :)

Hi Ofir,

It's great to see your interest in investing in the U.S. market from Germany! I completely understand the challenges you're facing with finding reliable information. The U.S. market can indeed be complex, especially when considering international factors like taxation and financing.

While I'm not based in Germany, I do work with a number of out-of-state and international investors who are interested in the Indianapolis market, which offers strong returns and more approachable entry points compared to coastal U.S. cities. One of the most critical things to do when investing internationally is to build a solid local team that includes a tax advisor familiar with cross-border investments, a real estate agent who understands the market, and potentially a property management team if you’re considering rental properties.

If you're interested in learning more about the Indianapolis market or want to discuss your investment goals further, I’d be happy to share what I know and help guide you through the process.

Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions or would like to set up a time to chat.

Best regards,
Ryan Cheek

Thanks Ryan, I will reach out to you, glad to have a chat. Appreciate it! :)

Thanx guys, yeah, ovbiviously the 0% / 50% is total scam. That's why I don't trust any online gurus and charlatans and seek a real advise from someone serious and experienced in what I'm researching.

Hi. Writing from Germany here. I have 200K to invest. Seeking advice / source / mentoring about investing in US market from Germany.

This has a different set of rules - taxing, loans, etc. I look for someone who can advice on this theme, share knowledge or informaiton, sources to read, learn etc. The information sources in Germany are mostly scam - all sorts of 'experts' who claim it's possible to get a loan with 0% interests and a yield of 50%...

Is there any experienced investor / mentor I can talk to, or any source of information you recommend for people like me? Any advice or PM will be appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you all for great tips, ideas and practical advice. Will see where this is going.
