But how do you manage co-mingling of funds?

Hi everyone,

I currently have an AmEx platinum for personal use for which the annual fee is $695. I was thinking of getting one for my property's LLC and then adding myself as an employee with a separate card, cancel my card I have for personal use, and expense the annual fee for the business card.

If I have a business card as an employee, what are your thoughts on using that "employee" card for my personal expenses so I can track them and pay them separately. The costs for the LLC business will be paid with the primary business card. Does anyone see any legal or accounting issues with this plan?

Thanks!

It’s an investment property and I won’t live there.

Hello! For privacy purposes, I don't want to put my personal home address on the deed of an investment property, nor do I want my personal address linked to my LLC. I know I can use a registered agent address for the LLC, but what should I use for the property deed? My attorney suggested a P.O. Box but want to see if there are other options.

Thank you!

How would this work if I put my tenants on a week to week lease? Although it’s cumbersome, would that qualify as short term (7 days or less) even if it’s the same person renting each week?

Thank you!

Thank you.  That said, what is the conventional mortgage that works best for an investment property?

My understanding was putting into an LLC is a good way to protect against liabilities and stay "anonymous?"
