Does anyone know how to get my unit rented as corporate housing? Any reputable contacts or sites?

I've been looking to purchase multi families in the coming months for positive cash flow. I'm open to all US cities. Where do I start? What market has a decent cost of entry with positive cash flow properties? I've been looking at New Orleans, Detroit, Tampa and Orlando.

Any thoughts.

Hello All,

I have tried putting my condo on the market and have had much success getting offers (for asking) since I live in a very desireable section of Brooklyn (downtown by the new Barclays Center). The problem is these buyers cannot get financing so I am pulling it off the market for now.

In the meantime me and my SO have outgrown the place. Its perfect for couples starting out or single professional to live or an investor to buy and rent out (the rental market in our area has improved significantly and my building is always at capacity).

I am thinking of renting it myself but im not sure if I want individual renters. I am seriously considering corporate renters to minimize the risk of longterm damage/wear and tear on my unit.

Has anyone had experience with this? if so where can I or should I start to look for corporate/executive renters? is there a specific site? I looked on CHBO but Im not too sure about it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I did some research online and couldnt find any "unfavorable" reviews. Just positive ones. They charge $279 to list with them and "gaurantee" a renter in 30 days.

Im a little skeptical of the online world when it comes to service providers....Just wondering if anyone has used them or another service they deem reputable.

Has anyone every used Corporate Housing By Owner (CHBO)?

If so, can you tell me how your experience was? do you know of any other corporate housing providers?

I am thinking of using them as an alternative to renting my place to a regular leased tenant.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Joel/C Rich,

My unit has washer/dryer in unit. Parking for a fee and storage for a fee.

I want to explore corporate housing but Im not sure how. What sites/companies should I look to?

Thanks Joel,

I actually priced my unit $200 below the other units in the building that are the same layout. My unit in comparison to the other units (1bdrms) is a bit larger. I adjusted for the fact its a loft/studio like layout (open). ..But like I said the same units as mine (higher and lower floors) rented for $2800. I know because Im the treasurer and I know what the renters are paying in each unit.

Im just navigating this whole thing. Thanks for all your help. I will reduce it more. I figured it may be the season (winter) and no one wants to move yet.
