Just want to say thanks to everyone, had a great time last night, really appreciate @Brandon Turner and @Tiffany Plovie for organizing the meetup.  Met people I am excited to know and work with more.

Let's do it again soon!

@Elizabeth Colegrove , thanks for the good info and nice to meet you.  Never give up is a common theme.

I look forward to seeing you around as well.  Thanks again.

I am currently renovating my house and I expect to gain some equity, and will soon have some decisions to make... I could see how a sabbatical would be tempting!  Your advice Hattie is likely the more prudent one.

Thanks Michelle and James for the welcome.  My wife and I plan on being at the meet-up this Thursday in the U-District.  We'll connect again.

Hey everyone!

I moved from California to Seattle with my wife about 18 months ago as a result of an opportunity to work as a corporate executive.  Although rewarding, I'm looking to jump in to real estate investing.  I may be more excited to begin making some new connections and create some amazing stories, otherwise what's the point?!  In my previous experience in real estate as a Wholesale Lender, I thought I knew everything, yet I knew nothing.

If you could travel back in time, what advice would you give yourself when you first jumped in to real estate?
