I am looking to purchase my first vacation rental in another state and am wondering if I should get a traditional LLC or a Series LLC and do I need to contact an attorney to set it up for me. Do I setup the LLC in the state that the property is in (NH) or my home state (RI)? I would appreciate any help as I am hoping to start on the right foot from the beginning. Thank you so much!

I am considering purchasing a single family home in the North Conway/Madison Area for Short term rentals. Does anyone know on average what the utility cost (gas, electric) is annually for a 3 bedroom home as well as plowing and landscaping. I am looking to get the house to cash flow and my plan is similar to @Jim Mitchell which is to have a property management company the first year and then engage the respective services on my own in year 2. I am just looking to make sure I have the proper assumptions in my assessment. 

I am a new investor and I have been looking in the North Conway/Madison New Hampshire market for a vacation rental for quite some time. I was wondering if anyone has had experience in this market and if they have found that the investments are cash flowing well. 

I am also looking for any recommendations on realtors in the area with investor experience that can provide some answer to some of my questions such as if there are any regulations on short term rentals in the area, how the typical rental cycle has recently been performing, etc.

If anyone has had any experience in this market and would be willing to share their experiences, it would be greatly appreciated. I will be heading to NH in the coming week to explore some homes.
