Hi Kislay,

Thanks for making time to answer our questions.

I just formed a Series LLC. Is it alright for a property owner to reside in one of the series and take care of all expenses including the mortgage? In other words, property owner is not making money from the rental but residing in it. Will this have any tax implications?

Thanks

Hello everyone,

I am new to real estate investing and have two rentals. I want to put the rentals under an LLC for protection against liability. Any recommendations(contact) for an affordable real estate attorney and type of corporation to form? Located in Texas. Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I'm seeking assistance from a landlord and tenant attorney who has experience dealing with mold issues. Recently, my tenants discovered mold in my property, and honestly, I wasn't aware of its presence since I've never resided there, and previous tenants never reported any mold concerns. Upon discovering the mold, I've taken proactive measures to prevent its spread. I offered the tenants the option to terminate the lease, along with returning their security deposit and February rent. However, they declined the offer and have been sending me disrespectful emails, demanding additional compensation.

I'm in need of guidance on how to proceed from here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
