Speaking from hands on experience on both platforms as I've worked with both Carrot and Wordpress sites (more than 400 sites so far since 2017), what carrot brings into the table is their simple, all in one, fast website platform. It's basically built on top of WordPress core and they made it simple and easy to navigate.

Where in wordpress, you have to get some plugins (some are also monthly paid) to achieve the same kind of functionality.

SEO is not just about having a good hosting/platform and features, it's about utilizing the features in a way so your brand has visibility and people that come into your website gets proper value of their time spent.

Here's a table comparison for you that I wrote earlier

Now whether you have a carrot or a wordpress site, for SEO, you will need:

- Website Credibility (Personalisation)

- On Page SEO (Keywords, Titles, Meta Tags, Description, Image ALT Tags & Optimization etc)

- Social Media Presence (Regular Posts/Videos and Engaging with your audience)

- Monthly Content Publishing (Regular Blogs & Location Pages)

- Monthly OFF Page SEO (Citations, Backlinks)

Now if you consider the cost, end of the day it's quite same for both the platforms.

But if you are starting fresh, I see no point of having their 180$ plan, you can continue with 89$/month plan from carrot and assign someone in your team to put regular blog posts and update the location pages.
Or if you want to use WordPress and get someone setup the website and do regular content updates for you, then It can take 3-6 months to start seeing visible growth in organic traffic if all the things mentioned above are taken care of. Then when you see some tractions or close some deals, you can reinvest in your website.

Following our previous post on global real estate insights, let's delve deeper into the numbers that shape the market. Brace yourself for some eye-opening figures! ๐Ÿ’ผ

Did you know that foreign buyers accounted for a staggering $59 billion in residential purchases during April 2021โ€“March 2022? That's a remarkable 2.6% of the $2.3 trillion total dollar ๐Ÿ’ฐ volume of existing-home sales!

During the same period, 98,600 existing-home purchases ๐Ÿก were made by foreign buyers, making up 1.6% of the 6.06 million existing-home sales. This highlights the significance of global investment in the real estate sector.

When it comes to the origin of foreign buyers, we observe a diverse mix. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Canada, Mexico, China, India, Brazil, and Colombia take the lead, with Canada alone representing 11% of foreign buyers, amounting to a substantial $5.5 billion.

Considering the preferred destinations, Florida emerges as the top choice, attracting 24% of foreign buyers, followed by California, Texas, Arizona, New York, and North Carolina. These states offer lucrative opportunities for investors seeking growth and diversification. ๐ŸŒด

What's even more intriguing is the foreign buyer median purchase price, which stands at $366,100, surpassing the median price of all U.S. existing homes sold. It's a testament to the value and desirability of properties in this segment of the market.

Understanding these market trends is crucial for real estate professionals and investors alike. By staying informed and analyzing the ever-evolving landscape, we can make better decisions and seize opportunities in this dynamic industry.๐Ÿ“ˆ

I'm thrilled to continue sharing valuable insights with all of you. If you have any questions or would like to contribute your own observations, please feel free to join the conversation! Let's empower each other to navigate the global real estate landscape successfully.

Did you know that according to data from the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORSยฎ, a staggering 44% of foreign buyers in the real estate market paid in cash? ๐Ÿ’ฐ

The allure of investing in a vacation home or rental property has also captivated 44% of foreign buyers, compared to just 17% among all existing-home buyers.

Interestingly, when it comes to property type preferences, 74% of foreign buyers opted for detached single-family homes ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ or townhomes, while the figure stood at 89% for all existing-home buyers.

For those considering investing in the suburbs, you're not alone! Around 46% of foreign buyers chose to purchase properties in suburban areas. ๐Ÿž๏ธ

When it comes to leads and referrals, a staggering 70% came from personal or business contacts. Relationships truly matter in this industry!

Exploring the global market, it's fascinating to note that 3% of respondents had clients who leased residential properties in the U.S., and 9% had clients seeking properties outside of the U.S. ๐Ÿ”
