I'm still new at this whole thing and I got a bunch of great advices from these real estate agents I had been networking with. My lifetime goal is to create a financial freedom but my current goal is to learn as much as I can and find a multi-home in NJ that I can create a positive cash flow from. So, I looked into the properties in NJ. I have to say Newark is kinda out of my budget for now. So, I came across Trenton, NJ and surprisingly, there are a bunch of properties under 100k. However, is it a desirable neighborhood for people want to rent? Is it going through gentrification? Or am I better off looking for a multi-home in Newark, NJ? Thank you for your time reading.

@Kevin Blanchard, that's a very good information and it gives me something to think about. Thank you!

@Ashley Crump, its so good to know im not alone in this whole investor thing. I will check your post then! Thank you!

@Odie Ayaga I will look into the books but for podcasts? Unfortunately, I'm deaf which makes it difficult for me to hear it so I will stick with the books. You are right, there's no such as a fast lane to success. Thank you!

@George W I have read Rich Dad Poor Dad! It is one of reasons it inspired me. Thank you for your tip!

Okay, I will start with that then. I see there are many great reading materials which is a perfect time to start. Let's say when I feel I have enough knowledge then what? What's the next step? Just wondering. Thank you for relying back!

Hi everyone, I'm originally from New York City but currently, I live in Newark, NJ and I'm a mother of a baby boy. I work full-time but I've always wanted to try the real estate investment and to build the financial freedom for my family especially my son. I'm very much more drawn to the whole flipping house aspect of the real estate investment. How/where should I start this? I'd really like to learn as much as I can about it and I would really appreciate if somebody can help me out here. Have a blessed day!
