@Hilaree Fraly I'm from Bay City. As long as you're in a good area, then I don't see an issue. If you want it for a rental, make sure the numbers work. If you want to flip, the market is great right now so I'd do it soon than later. With all of the new investment in the city we should be in good shape for the future.

@Drew Denham

I will be looking at buying a small multi unit in the fall. Don't hesitate to send me anything that comes your way!

Drew, I also agre on dropping the door shutters. Funky colors like bright red are popular and modern right now. I think it makes people think the house feels more up to date.

@Tom Bell, I would be interested in some info on your REIA. I am a Bay City local as well.

Hey guys,

I live and invest in Bay City. I haven't used any property management companies yet. I haven't heard of any great ones yet either. I know a few local builders if you need referrals.

Bay City is a great city to invest in. Extremely low purchase prices with national average rent rates. It's a beautiful thing!

Hi kevin,

I'm from Bay City. There are a handful of people on here from Bay City, Midland, and Saginaw. They talked about doing a meetup in Saginaw last year, but I don't think it ever happened.

I will also vouch for Manny. I bought a house from him last summer. He is great!

Hi @Allan Brock,

I live in Bay City, and I will be starting to wholesale in the near future. I don't have any experience for you yet on the wholesaling front, but there is an over abundance of knowledge on this site. If you have any deals, or would like to potentially work together on something, I may be able to help you out.

Hopefully all goes well!

@Tanya H. I am an investor from Bay City. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask!

@Jim clous, @Randall Burris, @Dan O'Neill, I Have a friend up in Traverse City who is trying to buy his first deal. If you come across anything that you don't want, or if you have any solid wholesale deals, he would probably be interested. Strong loan capability.

I would be interested as well. There are no BP meet ups within 45 miles of Bay City.
