How are people dealing with the homeless camps that proliferate the SE Portland area? Especially down off power by the 205. I’ve located a few deals but the current political and homeless landscape make me a bit skittish. Thoughts?

Never split the difference. Such amazing book. You can start using the techniques the same day you learn about them.
Hello BP. Is there an investor that can show me how to put in an offer? I’d willing to partner. Thank you and have a great day.

@Zach Davis thank you for the response.  If you're asking if I have a skill like carpentry, construction, plumbing, etc.  Then I have none of that.  However, I have equity in a California rental.  My wife and I purchased the house while I was stationed there.  To be honest, I'll that I can really offer is a desire to learn, and a willingness to help others in their investing adventures.  Again, thank you for taking the time to respond.  Enjoy.

@Aaron Hollingshead First off thank you for the reply.  The area where I'm looking at runs between 122nd and 181st.  There is a vacant house on 136th between Powell and Holgate.  It's a mess.  I'm looking at it for my first deal.  I'm just not sure about the area.

I’ve located a few potential houses in the SE area. Mainly in the David Douglas School District. Does anyone have any thoughts on the area? I’m thinking it’s a C class area. Thank you for the information.

Hello, I’m looking to break into the industry. I’m asking for nothing more then a chance to learn and prove myself. If you’re an investor who has a project that you need help with, I’m willing to put in the sweat.

Recently moved back to Portland, after some time in the Air Force.  I’m unable to attend this event.  However, I’m looking for ways to help out my fellow investors as a way of learning the trade and earning money to put toward future real estate projects.  I’m not looking for a job, I’m looking to learn.  Thanks for the help and I look forward to the next meet up.
