@German E Franco a Non-QM mortgage is a loan for borrowers who don't quite fit into the A-Paper guidelines. Borrowers for these types of leans are qualified based on their ATR (Ability To Repay).There are different qualifying standards depending on the type of loan, is it Owner Occupied, Non Owner Occupied, or Foreign National? All of these will have different requirements to prove ATR. Each lender will have different guidelines/conditions they ask for to prove ATR. As always do your due diligence and go with the lender that best fits the goals you're trying to accomplish.
