The security is worth the cost. Being licensed, bonded and insured means that they have the proper training and experience. If they don't have that, they could take your money or deposit and just leave, taking your money with them. Those who are licensed are held accountable. Not to mention the fact that if you have major repairs done and later an inspector comes to the home when you are trying to sell, those faulty repairs fall on you.  Good luck finding the guy who doesn't actually own a real business to be held accountable. Easier to hold people with a license accountable. I'd say the peace of mind is well worth it and way more professional.

I believe that is now called Building Materials Outlet, Inc. That is a great store for cabinets, doors, countertops. Great recommendation, thanks.

Our family owned and operated company has been working primarily with real estate investors in the valley for over ten years. If you're interested and still looking for a contractor, feel free to message me! I wish you the best with your search.

Hello @John Powell ,

Our family owned and operated general contracting company does a lot of work for real estate professionals in the valley. We specifically work with investors and builders in the area. Licensed, bonded and insured. Feel free to check our website at affrontipropertysolutions.com for our portfolio!

Hello-

I'm wondering what liquidation/contractor supply store that investors, flippers, builders use in the valley that they recommend? I already know about Imperial Wholesale, Desert Liquidator, Stardust. I am curious if there are some other stores with great deals on items such as vanities, flooring, tile, light fixtures that I may not be aware of.

Please provide some recommendations if you have any!

Thanks in advance!

@Karen Margrave purely inquisitive. It seems that there are a lot of non-trustworthy contractors out there. I'm curious what platforms are being used by investors to find contractors.

When it comes to fix and flips, or just turnovers between tenants, how are investors in this area finding their licensed general contractors? I'm not looking for just an "Angie's list" contractor. How are people finding a serious contractor that specializes in working with investors?

@Mason Aitken Honestly, most of our flips that our company handles for investors in the Valley we supply with Dimond Kitchen & Bath, Building Materials Outlook, or just simply Home Depot.
