Hi all 

Thank you for all of your input.  I filed a complaint with the Attorney General and it seems many others had as well.  An attorney reached out to us this afternoon to inform us of next steps (file a police report and then a complaint with the real estate commission). They are actively investigating this. 

 From what we have been able to discover is that they have taken the money from the renters and have not paid cleaners.  

 The agent was licensed.  We (as well as others) have filed with the Attorney General and submitted a complaint with BBB.  VRBO doesn't seem to understand what we are requesting. 

Hello -

My rental property is currently with a company that has shut its doors without notifying any of the clients.  We are unable to get a hold of anyone and our properties are still listed on VRBO and Airbnb with the company.  What steps do we take to get it removed so we can re-list our property?

I’m looking forward to network and connect in this community.  My husband is a general contractor and framer on Cape Cod.   We also have a rental property in the Burnt Store Marina area of Punta Gorda, Florida.   Right now we are in the process of acquiring land to build a childcare center with a duplex on the property as a rental.  
I’m looking forward to making connections for creative financing, advice on rentals, and just overall rapport with others on the same track.

Congratulations on your first property.  That’s really exciting and great to hear that you were able to do it after such a short time.  My boyfriend and I are just getting started and we are in the neighboring town of Mashpee.  If you wouldn’t mind, we would greatly appreciate it if you shared your realtors name.  No worries if you don’t feel comfortable doing that.  As we jump in the game, we’re thinking that finding someone based on a referral is a better option than winging it.
