Hello everyone! To all the landlords with rentals in LLCs, how do your tenants pay the LLC? Is Venmo/Cashapp/Zelle acceptable? Can LLCs even get those? Is there a more official way to accept payment? Just getting started in the game.

Hey guys! Two part question here. Is traveling to a different state to look at rental property considered a business trip? I will be going to Hawaii to look at some rental property. However, I do not have my LLC formed yet. Will I be able to write off this expense as a business trip and can you even make tax write offs on business expenses that were made prior to the LLC formation?

Hello all! I am in the market for a STR and need to develop a system thats hands off. I work over seas and will not be available for day to day problems that occur. How does everybody build their STR business to be hands off? How can I set up cleaning to be on time and inspect the property after every turnover? How can I ensure everything works every checkout/in with such a high turnover rate? Is this even possible? Would love to hear what people are doing!

Hello all! Just closed on a property i will be using as a long term rental and am getting ready to rent out my condo as well (Im moving to a new condo). What should I do in regards to having both rentals in my name vs an LLC? Do I make an LLC for each property? Do I buy Umbrella Insurance instead? New investor so please drop some knowledge!

Hello BP!  I have a house in Tampa, FL and looking to rent out my rooms.  Does anyone have any other means of finding tenants other than local facebook groups and roomies.com?  I want to broaden my horizon to find different ways of reaching potential tenants.  Anything helps!
