Akeen, in most cases you should be able to invest in personal properties no matter what broker you choose. You may have some issues when it comes to managing properties. Just depends on your strategy.

Depends...some will do free estimates, some will charge for there time. Some will give you a free verbal quote. Others will charge to do a written estimate. I am a broker and contractor, so I like to to look at the whole deal, acquasition + rehab + hold cost in order to make the deal a win-win for everyone....
