Great Job Brian
Way to get your feet wet. As for helocs,I'm not an expert, i will give my two cents. The points would depend on your credit score and or your lender. I would check into that if i where you. Also remenber that you can write off the interest on that loan. You can't with the loans that you have now.

Hope someone will correct me if i'm wrong????

@brad or anyone sale.

What books would you recommend?

I have read three books from beginning to end. 2 from a guru. It was ok. Learned a few things from him. It seems that these books out here are just a sales pitch on paper.

Any recommendation are appreciated.

Thanks for that clarification Curt.

Thanks for all your replies.

Should i take one or two courses? Also for the Contract engineering course it is $1300.

@Mark I will check into that club. Is it normal to pay yearly fees for this type of club??

They have a all around course that teaches from contacts to field trips as they call it. There motto is earn while you learn. Cost is $12,000 plus. But because of the cost I told them that I just can't do that now. So he suggested that I take contract engineering and he would help me. This course(in house) is 2hrs a week for 7 weeks. It sounds like he wants me to have some skin in the game. I understand that.

Individual courses:

1. Contract engineering
2.power prospecting
3. Property inspection
4. Negotiation and ethics
5. Business entities & tax strategies
6. Property portfolio management
7. Notes & financial calculator
8. Foreclosure strategies
9. Commercial property & development
10. Tax sale strategies
11. Freehabbing
12. Mastermind workshops
13. 1 on 1 coaching
14. Control and roll real estate auction wholesaling.

Then they have full curriculum as well.

My goal would be to wholesale then rentals down the road. Maybe full time bias..

Thanks Anson for your help..

Hello,

Wanted to know from you, your opinions or personnel experiences in regards to investor schooling. No, not from some guru. I have been thinking, I'm so new to the industry this may work for me since they are local to me. This company been around for 20+ years. They have an investor school and auction company. I have been researching them and I could only find one bad review. It seems like they have a good success rate from the testimonials.

My question for you.

What are some questions should I ask?

What should I look for??

All your help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to ask this type of question. But I have nobody to discuss with in the industry.

The "Real Deal" that your speaking of is one that makes them $$$. Meaning true wholesale deals will find the investor for you as an wholesaler. You will just have to do your D.D.though. The more your prepared the better you will be.

In my area md the investors are looking forv70% ARV - repairs. then you have your fee in there as well.

I would search wholesale on the site.

As Karen say's it depends on the area as well.

@don
Sorry I took your post alittle to serious . Now that you have enlightened me on the hole situation I see that it was just humor.

However, reading what was written I thought you were serious or surprised. When hiring painters I know most of them can and will finish, hang, tape ,use drop clothes ect.. most of the painters that I have seen/hired just painted. The finishing and clean up was completed bye the drywall crews.

Great post everyone...
