One of my biggest questions is, do I need to be working a full-time job to start my real estate investing? Here's a little about my current situation. I worked for 9 yrs at my job. I quit about 2.5 yrs ago as I was making money fine selling online and flipping items. I also have uber on the side if I need extra income. My father past away in 2020 and I was able to become successor of the home. Currently going through the steps of consuming the loan. So, I went and got a ft job and am working on credit for my goals. The house has approx $200k in equity. The plan is to use equity to build a portfolio by getting a line of credit. Do I need to keep this job until I build up rental income? Would love any advice on this matter. The goal is to buy and hold as rental properties. Thanks!
