@Brice Lorenz

Hello! Welcome to BP! As @Arthur Banks mentioned we do have a meetup once a month on the last Saturday of the month. You can find us on Meetup.com under Brew City Real Estate Investment. We cover all kinds of subjects and its great networking opportunity. Hope to see you there!

@Andrew Cordle

Well, I run the unofficial "BP" Milwaukee Meetup(started it in Sept of 13). Depending on the subject matter we get an average of 20-30 people in attendance. Also I just partnered with the local REIA on an event and they average around 100 per meeting. So between the two groups I know we can get a strong attendance.

Please let me know and I will speak with Milwaukee REIA and see if we can get something going here. I look forward to working with you!

Thank you!

P.S. Great job putting this together.

@Alex Santini

I would get in touch with a top notch real estate agent who can give you a list of SOLD comps(houses that are similar to yours ) within a mile of your house for the past 4 months. Look at those and compare them to yours and that will help you get an idea of what the property is worth.

As for rent, you can go on rentometer and put in the address of your property and the rent he is paying and it will give you the average rent prices in your surrounding area. So you can gauge if the rent is where you need it to be or if you need to raise it.

Then for eventually selling your property. I would really network with real estate agents. Find one you are comfortable with and they will help you with all of this. It is their job to know comps and understand the market.

Hope this helps!

That is so awesome! I would definitely give them back to him. I'm sure he would be very grateful.
