@AJ H. Thanks, AJ. My issue is not receiving the mail, but the actual setting up of the business account, and for that, I need a physical address. We have a virtual one which we've tried, but doesn't work. I will keep looking for options, but thanks again for all the info!

Hello BPers!

I am about to close on my first deal . 🙌

I am trying to open a business bank account with Chase by registering the address from my LLC, but I am not able to go through with it. I'm guessing because it's not a physical address, but instead, it is the lawyer's office address that did the paperwork for my LLC.

Are there any ways around this? I did notice that the lawyer can provide a "physical" address for us for a $300/year fee, but I would like to avoid that.

Please note I am living overseas, and could not (and would not want to) use a personal home address.

Any suggestions? Other banks I could use? I would prefer to stay with Chase since I already have a personal account with them, but I am open to suggestions.

Thank you, you guys rock!👊

Hello BP community!

I am looking for recommendations for property management companies in the Kansas City area. I will be investing in SFHs  to buy and hold. Which companies have you used, past and present, and why did you like them (or not) ? What kind of technologies do they use, how responsive are they with the tenants and owners, how well do they carry out preventive maintenance,  etc?

Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Thanks and have a great day!

Hello BP community!

My husband and I will soon be partnering with a couple on our first deal in Kansas City. We would like to find an attorney to go over the operating agreement (the agreement was previously drafted for another partnership deal which did not include us), and make sure it is legally binding.

I am looking for suggestions for any attorneys you have used in the past, along with your experience using the services.

Many thanks!

Thanks,

@Michael Maartens Goedenavond, Michael. I'm Natasha, from the US, but living in Utrecht! 🙂 I'm also starting to invest in the US this year (MO to be more specific), and interested in partnering as well. Maybe we could have a chat? I will send you a PM.

@Ola Dantis Buying them in bulk at a discounted price, with tenants already placed in them.

I know it won't be easy, but it's not impossible with a good team in place.

Multi-family is in the cards for us, just not at the moment.

@James Ewing Good on you! You've taken the first step, which is connecting with people. I wish you all the best, and hope to hear about your first purchase soon!
