Thanks Tyler I did see so many groups and meet ups that's why I was asking BP to try and cherry pick.

I'm looking for groups or seminar recommendations in the Denver area. I'm looking to network with like minded folks who are seasoned in the real estate game.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice.

My step mom has a air bnb on her residential property and is being taxed commercially at 29% here in Colorado.she will be paying around around 6000 according to property value and she only makes 20000 from the air bnb. So she is considering shutting the doors.

What's can she do?

@Erik Whiting I don't think your post is disrespectful a little harsh maybe assuming just cause I'm a newbie that I've done no research locally and that I'm just going to jump head first into the first market someone on bp tells me to. I've been studying my *** off. Which brought me to other markets where my capital could go further. Where house prices haven't skyrocketed. It doesn't seem sustainable to me. I sold my previous house at a high price I don't want to go buy at a high price to me it doesn't make sense. Maybe I'm way off base but to say no don't do it stay home, wait years for a good local deal. Sorry I don't think that's good advice it goes against bp's just get started, don't sit on the sidelines watching dancing with the stars. Lol

I'm in no hurry I will take the time to find a great deal no matter the location but I'm not going to wait for one in my neighborhood or one to jump in my lap(which doesn't happen anyway). I don't mind traveling looking forward to it really and like I said I get 2 weeks a month to go wherever. I have weighed pros and cons have looked for local deals semi local deals in state local deals. Colorado is not where I want my money.

I was hoping to get locations where others are successful so I can begin my due diligence and see if the location fits my criteria.

No disrespect and I do appreciate everyone's advice and opinions

@Chris Lopez thanks Chris I currently live in Walden, CO I own my house and want to raise my kids here in Walden so house hacking in Denver's is out. And the job I would love to quit is also here. Financial freedom is what my goal is. MF makes the most sense to me along with the brrrr strategy to keep my money moving and build a portfolio.

Am I way off base here?

Open to all suggestions after all I am a newbie

Thanks
