Hi,

I'm a real estate investor from Israel looking for my first property (sfh) in Jacksonville. I have been analyzing potential deals for a few months, and I've gotten a good grasp on the different areas where I want to invest.

I've decided that I'm ready to tour the city, so I've booked a flight and will be spending all of next week in Jacksonville. My plan is to see several properties, get to know neighborhoods and meet people that I can work with.

How do you suggest I spend my time in Jacksonville? What are some things I must see, people I should get in touch with, etc.?

My wife have a been filing her tax return (and paying her taxes), and we have an address in the U.S to provide.

Will the lender be looking only at her income or our joint income?

My wife and I are going to buy our first property in the US (Jacksonville, FL). We would like to buy it in cash and then finance it with a conventional loan (BRRR)

My wife is American and I'm Israeli. Both of us live abroad. Does anyone have experience in getting a mortgage from out of the country?

Hi everyone,

I'm Nate, I'm a real estate investor from Israel, and I am looking to buy my first rental property in the U.S. I have done my research and decided to invest in Jacksonville FL.

My plan is to start out by purchasing SFHs, in a B/C class (i.e. lower middle to middle class areas) with a budget of 100k (all in) and continue with that tactic after completing the first deal.

Can anyone provide some tips about neighborhoods where my budget will be sufficient?

Any special or unusual RE rules that I should be aware of for Jacksonville or for Florida in general?

What are the best neighborhoods to invest in for buy&hold?

What are the areas that I should stay away from?

I would love to connect with agents and wholesalers who work with investors.
