@Leah Stuever Yes that would definitely be the case. To use them. Thanks for helping me learn, it just helps so I can be a little more confident and have a better understanding on how to work with an agent. Much appreciated!

@Leah Stuever Thank you very much for the reply. And no definitely not wanting to access their MLS account myself. But if there is a certain criteria of properties that I am interested. They could help bring those leads to my attention, even if those properties are not yet listed to the general public??

So I am currently browsing properties that could be potential rentals, or even flips potentially. There are some properties I would like to call the agent and ask for some more information about the properties.

The properties I am looking at are in a different state than where I am at, and I’ve never called and agent. Now I don’t want to waste an agents time. If I am interested in this area for potentially investing, should I tell the agent up front what my goals are in these properties.

Also at what point would it be appropriate to maybe bring up to an agent to eventually feed me listings on the MLS for potential deals/contracts. How would I go about that?? Would I say that I would just be using that agent to buy in exchange for MLS "access"??

I have no idea, but am very curious, and feedback is appreciated!
