Moving from Utah to DFW area. The housing market has boomed so it’s giving me some decent equity from my home to start investing in real estate.

I’m wanting to get my first rental property but want to know where it’s best to begin. Dallas area is where we’ll live but Oklahoma City and Waco have more affordable homes to buy meaning I’d likely be able to buy two to rent.

Hoping to start building some passive income. What area would be best for a long-term investment?
